The ultimate indoor LEGO playground is opening on the 18th of April 2017! Come and experience LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre Melbourne with more than 2 million bricks. Home to MINILAND with iconic Melbourne buildings and landmarks, alongside a number of LEGO themed zones for kids and families including an interactive LEGO laser ride, a Merlin’s Apprentice Ride and a 4D cinema, there will be something for everyone! The experience starts with the LEGO Factory Tour, where the story of how the iconic bricks are made is told. From there, be sure to check out the Kingdom Quest Laser Ride, with a mission to save the princess and earn points on this knight themed ride. Feeling inspired to make your own LEGO creations? Then head over to the Build & Test zone. Build your own vehicles and test their speed on our ramps! This pass is for 1 person.
We have a child policy which means that an adult cannot enter the discovery centre without a child. This is due to the nature of the attraction but the ratio does not have to be 1 child to 1 adult - there just needs to be at least 1 child within the group (e.g. mum, dad and child can come together). Our child age range is 3 to 15 year-olds. No child or children aged 15 or under will be admitted unless they are accompanied by an adult (over 18 years of age) and such child or children must remain under the supervision of an adult at all times. Young adults between 16 and 18 may visit the attraction unaccompanied, however, they cannot act as a guardian to children below 15. The consumption of food and beverages is only permitted in our cafe area. No outside food or beverages are allowed at the attraction. Guests are allowed to bring in water in plastic bottles, baby food and food for special dietary needs. There will also be an opportunity to purchase kids activity packs and retail products from our store. Last entry to the discovery centre is at 4 pm. Please bring the gift voucher with you for your first visit to exchange it for the Annual Pass at reception. Each pass is non-transferrable and can only be used by the person on the pass. Unlimited admission for one year from the date of redemption.
Fantastic displays. Touch pool for children to touch sponges, shells, etc. Amazing sharks, stingrays, huge crocodile. Stunning colourful reef fish. A most enjoyable day.
We had a great day, my 7 yo with special needs got a bit bored with the fish but for the large majority of the day we had a great time!! We found it very interactive for the children and it?s a great place to let there imagination go!!
Great for the kids, just a little warm inside but was so much hotter outside, the cost of food from the caf? was very good value, not expensive at all and very nice.
Very overcrowded. Some great displays but so many overseas tourists with no manners and ratty children who have no concept of ?getting out of the way so someone else can see.? Kids were hungry so we thought we would quickly grab some hot chips. 35 minutes later and they were cold!! The cafe should warn you if there is an inept cook in the kitchen.
Was a little disappointed when we went through the gift shop and exited straight away kids were very disappointed we couldn?t go round again. Won?t b returning, only took us just over an hour and for the price it?s not worth it.
We really enjoyed it. But it was too expensive. Starting from buying the tickets, it adds 10% GST at the end without mentioning in advance. I went with my wife and two kids and my parents totally $180. At the end also charged us $39 for an album of 3 pictures of us. Very unfair price which makes it difficult to go again.
Fantadtic place to visit.. Took my 3 year old grandson recently, he loved it
My grandkids from NZ enjoyed it and we went during the week when school was in so wasn't too crowded. Just glad they don't live here as I couldn't afford to take them as often as they would like. Very expensive glad I got the deal with Legoland Discovery.
Hadn't been for over 5 years enjoyed the new exhibits a lot more interactive things for the kids, was sorry for the croc to be in such a small enclosure, but in the hole the 2hrs were enjoyable the only thing for criticism would be the entry fee over $65 for the 2 of us
Enjoyable but finding your way around is difficult , although you do get a map there are no signs inside the Aquarium, a few arrows etc., would really help. The kids are told at the start if they complete the activity card they get a 'surprise' frombthe gift shop at the end, the surprise being a sticker! Very underwhelming.
Expensive..... $100.00 For me hubby and 3 yr old grandson just to entre... .then they charge for photos and gift shop at the the exit so you have to buy for the kiddies
What a scam this was. All our 3 year old wanted was to see paw patrol, not stickers on the aquariums. We would of atleast thought the 4d cinema would of been a paw patrol sea dive adventure. Joke, False advertising. The aquarium itself is good though.

Very very overpriced, also for some reason we couldn?t get into the aquarium car park across the road $65 instead of $11. The cafe was so crowded and the line so long we thought we would go to the other only to find it closed. And while I understand the lifts are for parents with Prams I am 8 months pregnant and the woman wouldn?t let me use the lift and then rudely asked why I couldn?t just take the ramp. However the staff at the front counter were friendly and efficient, the woman who took the glass bottom boat tour was lovely. We won?t be back until we can get discount tickets or we take out a small loan.
Very hefty price in comparison to other great attractions around melbourne. I have been many times as my daughter loves it but very dissapointed that the kids activity where they 'stamp' an imprint on an activity sheet has several of the stampers broken and have been that way for years!
Way too expensive my 3yo admission was $28 RIDICULOUS !! I only go when macdonalds does their monoplay promotion but now that it cost $28 to get my 3yo in I?m probably not going bother. They are also very sneaky at the photo wall by taking extra pictures of just the kids and then when you go buy the pictures they sneak in ?Prices are $39 for one album but you can get both albums for $59?. also the map is confusing and somehow we ended up of level 1 after we pressed the button for B1 and to get the seahorse and penguin area the lift and escalators are hidden behind the rainforest so when you are walking around after kids you completely miss it and go to a completely different lift. I was left disapointed because my kids loved their day out there but don?t really see us coming back anytime soon
Enjoyable with our kids Is only d parking is so expensive
Me and my son absolutely loved Sea Life. The Penguins and crocodiles where a big hit with him. Highly recommended
Aquarium is good but we had a pram and the detour up a ramp instead of down stairs meant we skipped two levels. We then had to annoyingly backtrack with only one busy elevator available.

During our long stay in Melbourne, we loved visits to the Sea Life Aquarium on quieter days. The Mermaid Waters exhibit has become a peaceful family fav....a welcome break from hospital life. Thank you. #acureforfreyja
