At MyBestGift, we’re in the business of making memories. That’s why we believe experiences are everything. An extraordinary experience can deliver so much more than the average toy: more excitement, more challenges and more fulfilment. We think that gifts for our kids should be better, not bigger. Giving an experience instead of a toy means gifting memories, not stuff.
We’re on a mission to foster more meaningful gift giving: to turn the tide of endless toys, clothes and playthings given for birthdays, Christmas and countless other occasions. We want to change the way people think about giving gifts to kids by making it easy to gift experiences.
There are endless kids’ experiences available for purchase – from dance lessons to karate classes, jet boats to trampolining. Until now, choosing the right adventure has meant searching multiple directories and websites. MyBestGift brings a vast range of experiences to one website. So it’s easy to find the perfect one, whatever your little one’s age and interests. The best part is, it’s risk free: our vouchers can be exchanged for anything on the site up until the final booking with the experience provider.
Sara Eastwood is mum to two little girls and based on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. She has worked in various media organisations and has run her own business during a 16-year career in advertising.
After a few short years with her girls, Sara began a battle with an ever-growing mountain of stuff. Grateful to generous family and friends but guilty that gifts were not always used, Sara suggested ballet lessons for her daughter’s upcoming birthday. It wasn’t easy: the local ballet school didn’t deal in vouchers and there was no straightforward way to present the lessons as a gift. Sara spoke to other parents and they too wanted a simple way to give experiences, not things. With that, MyBestGift was born.
